Responsibilities

• Ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.
• Concept system design including circuits, pumps, tooling and fabrication.
• Produce engineering calculations to ensure specifications are met.
• Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD Inventor.
• Compile component specifications and verification in accordance with operating environment.
• Complete engineering and project documentation for compliance.
• Lead on design reviews to communicate system design.
• Create technical files and data books.

The Job You’ll Do

• To be an operational member of the design team to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.

• Concept system design including circuits, pumps, tooling and fabrication.

• Produce engineering calculations to ensure specifications are met including: - General understanding of thermodynamics, general understanding of mechanical design and calculations, good knowledge of material compatibility, flow through valves and pipework, volumetric pressure calculations and power consumption calculations.

• Produce detailed drawings, general arrangement drawings, P&ID drawings and bill of materials using AutoCAD Inventor.

• Compiling component specifications and verification in accordance with operating environment.

• Complete engineering and project documentation to ensure continued compliance with ISO standards and CE marking directives.

• Lead on design reviews to communicate system design to full project team.

• Creating technical files and data books including: - PED technical files, ATEX/IECEx technical files, and customer specific quality documentation.
