CIBSE Journal in Manchester is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our power generation and energy infrastructure team. This hands-on role covers design from concept through commissioning, focusing on CHP, trigeneration and battery energy storage, collaborating with project delivery and electrical teams.
You will develop mechanical and process designs, produce PFDs and P&IDs, size pipework and pumps, and ensure safety and CDM compliance on large-scale energy projects.
Mechanical Design Engineer – Manchester – Permanent – Power Generation, Energy Infrastructure & Battery Energy Storage. This is a hands–on engineering position focused on the design and development of complex energy projects from concept through to commissioning and operation. You'll be involved in the mechanical and process design of CHP, trigeneration and battery energy storage projects, working closely with project delivery, electrical engineering and installation teams.
