This is a great opportunity to bring your experience to one of the UK's leading renewable energy contractors with the option to ultimately progress into a leadership role as part of a structured development plan.

You'll play a key role in designing efficient, sustainable, and profitable renewable energy systems—from early concepts right through to detailed designs, drawings, equipment selection, and project delivery support. You'll also work closely with senior engineers, mentor junior team members, and expand your knowledge across a wide range of low‑carbon technologies.

The Role
  • Lead the design process for major renewable and sustainability projects
  • Produce drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Interpret client requirements and ensure designs meet quality, budget, and compliance standards
  • Support costings, risk assessments, and plant/equipment selection
  • Review and guide the work of junior engineers
  • Help improve processes, training, and overall design standards
What You’ll Need
  • HNC/HND (or degree) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • 4+ years' design experience in Building Services, HVAC, Heating, Cooling, CHP, or Renewable Energy systems
  • Competent in AutoCAD (Revit, IES-VE, or Hevacomp experience a plus)
  • Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Private medical cover
  • Company pension scheme
  • Life insurance and Employee Assistance Programme
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with options to buy/sell more)
  • Gym discounts and EV charging (where available)
