Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Water Sector (Contract)

Location: Yorkshire - hybrid working arrangements

Contract Type: Contract (Inside or Outside IR35 considered)

Duration: Long-term work, ongoing

Key Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs, calculations, and technical documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure (pumps, pipework, valves, process plant, etc.)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and process engineers
• Ensure designs comply with client specifications, UK Water Industry standards, and health & safety regulations
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings
• Support site teams with technical input during installation and commissioning phases
