Mechanical Design Engineer

Based Worcestershire

Salary: £40,000 plus full benefits

Part of a European world-class engineering business, the company is the market leader in the manufacture and supply of precision capital equipment for use in a broad range of engineering and manufacturing industries. The Group employs around 1000 across Europe, has a turnover of €750million, and markets its products through both direct sales and distribution.

Their Worcestershire manufacturing site is state of the art and produces high quality machines utilising their own in-house facilities. The site has a reputation as a progressive employer and has a non-unionised workforce of around 500 highly skilled individuals, with a significant graduate content.

The continued success of the business means that they now require a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in multi-disciplinary teams on the small and large scale development projects, taking designs from concept and experimentation through to design, prototyping and testing stages to established manufactured products.
