The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, product development, and manufacturing processes, with excellent SolidWorks skills. Experience within robotics, automation, or special-purpose machinery would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic and automation systems using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Work collaboratively with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, and tolerance analyses.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
• Optimise designs for cost, manufacturability, and performance.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawings.
• Provide technical input to improve and refine existing systems.
