Mechanical Design Engineer

What you’ll be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
  • Designing and developing advanced electro-mechanical products to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines
  • Producing clear, accurate design documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and servicing
  • Driving continuous improvement through design reviews and product optimisation
  • Applying industry standards to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability
  • Collaborating with production engineering and supply chain teams to take prototypes to full production
  • Supporting quality and environmental management processes
  • Researching and applying new technologies, materials, and design techniques
What we’re looking for as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related CAD tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, welding, coatings, and 3D printing
  • Practical, hands‑on approach to solving engineering challenges
  • Sharp attention to detail and drive to deliver high-quality, reliable products
