Mk Search are currently working with a well established mechanically biased M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £200m and a strong presence delivering across the life science, pharma and data centre sectors who require a mechanical construction manager to join their team on a £35m M&E pharmacuetical project in Newport, South Wales.

The project is a complex engineering build with cleanrooms, black and clean utilities and other major and complex packages.

Reporting to a mechanical project manager, you will join from the very beginning of the install stage and be tasked with managing and motivating the specialist mechanical subcontractors throughout the 1.5 year programme to PC.

Role / Responsibilities
  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • Attend site meetings
  • Progress reports
  • Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFIs, etc.
  • Health and safety
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Snagging
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project.
