We are seeking Mechanical Technicians with a background in Piping design for a contract role focused on innovative energy projects. The immediate priority involves providing design support for a prototype power station. This role will require managing high temperature and high-pressure levels, dealing with bespoke pipework, and engaging in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities. The design process involves iterative testing and amendments, requiring a dynamic and adaptable approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing design support for energy projects with a focus on a new prototype power station
• Managing high-temperature and high-pressure mechanical systems
• Engaging in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) work
• Conducting iterative testing and making design amendments as required
• Working closely with CAD systems, with significant CAD work required
• Ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards
• Collaborating with remote and on-site teams based near Teeside or Manchester

Job Requirements

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering and piping systems
• Proficiency in mechanical design principles and relevant CAD software
• Ability to manage high-temperature and high-pressure environments
