Job Overview

A leading mechanically biased building services principle contractor has a key opportunity for an experienced building services design engineer, who will be in commuting distance to Croydon.

Projects range from £500k to £20 million.

Responsibilities

• Receive design briefs and design concepts and transform these into specifications and drawings covering full HVAC, hot and cold water systems and public health.
• Carry out site visits and surveys as required.
• Meet with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Present designs when required.
• Work as part of the design and management team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current building regulations.
• Mechanical building services qualification with a minimum of an HNC level.
• Proficient in using design packages and knowledge of CAD, BIM and/or Revit.
• Living in commuting distance to Croydon.

Salary & Benefits

Salary between £60,000.00 & £75,000.00 (negotiable) discretionary performance related bonuses.

After 12 months service – Employee Ownership profit share distribution.
