Mechanical Technician required to produce and assemble components including conduct tests, measurements, operations and process controls as part of a marine assembly systems manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have precision engineering maritime or aerospace production experience reading blueprints to identify components, perform production assembly, test and repair.

Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience in comparable high value low volume environment, ideally maritime, subsea or aerospace.
  • Mechanical production using hand tools, automated machines and assemblies.
  • Quality processes understanding, assembly, test, troubleshoot, repair, test.
  • Other relevant skills include;
  • Wire preparation, strip, crimp and termination.
  • Manufacturing Systems tools maintenance and harness repair.
  • Hydraulic machine operation and programming.
  • Continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly of precision engineers high value projects.
  • Prosecute test techniques as per cell procedure.
  • Work from bill of materials, job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists and quality procedures.
  • Evaluate, repair and maintain production tooling and equipment.
