Skills

Job Title: Experienced Mechanical Fitter - Trafford Park

About the Role

We are looking for two experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our clients modern new facility in Trafford Park. You'll be working within an established and supportive team, assembling specialist vehicle equipment. This is a 3-6 month contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble skip hooks to vehicle chassis following detailed engineering drawings
• Carry out modifications and adjustments as required to ensure correct fit and functionality
• Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation tasks
• Work safely and accurately to meet quality and production standards
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve deadlines and maintain efficiency

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly role

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 11:45
• Overtime available

Pay Rates

• PAYE: £16.00 per hour
• Umbrella: £21.00 per hour
