Job summary

Join our Aerospace client at Bedhampton for a contract role as Mechanical Technician. Four positions are available to assemble hydraulic pumps, motors and generators using detailed drawings and SOPs, with shift options including day or late shifts.

Applicants should have aerospace manufacturing assembly experience or a related qualification, along with meticulous attention to tolerances and the ability to sign off work to specifications. 5S and lean manufacturing participation is encouraged.

Position: Mechanical Technicians (x4)
Location: Bedhampton, Havant
Shift: Day Shift or Late Shift
We are seeking x4 skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our Aerospace client’s team in Bedhampton. If you have experience in assembly and a passion for aerospace technology, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble hydraulic pumps, motors, and generators according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure precision and quality.
Utilise your skills to manufacture aerospace products that meet rigorous industry standards.

Requirements:

Pay

Days £15.42 per hour (PAYE) or £17.66 including holiday pay.
Lates £18.50 per hour (PAYE) or £21.19 including holiday pay.
Overtime: Time and a half for hours over 37, and for Saturdays; double time for Sundays and bank holidays.

Working Hours:

Earlies Monday – Thursday: 07:15 – 15:45, Friday: 07:15 – 12:15
Lates Monday – Thursday 14:15 – 00:00
