  • Understand the customer's delivery requirements.
  • Maintain a good level of housekeeping within the working environment.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Salary: £29900 to £34000 per annum

Location: Quedgeley

Working week: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 3:45 pm (Mon-Thu) and 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Fridays

Role

We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical assembler for a busy manufacturing company based in Quedgeley. The applicant would be responsible for assembly and test of high precision components and associated parts for the automotive and aerospace sector of the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the assembly and commissioning of repaired or new mechanical solutions to the appropriate standard and specification set in place by the relevant supporting documents.
  • Testing of assembled parts to appropriate standards or to the client\'s specific test requirements.
  • Completion of customer specific documentation.
  • Ensuring that the appropriate hold points/inspection points are adhered to, as third-party signatories/verification.
  • Understand the customer\'s requirements as regards deliveries which may involve excessive hours to achieve required deliveries.
  • Maintain a good level of housekeeping within the working environment you are currently in.

  • Proven experience in a production or automotive based assembly and test environment
  • Strong team-working ethic, with the drive and flexibility to maintain pace of work as priorities and requirements change
