Job summary

A leading engineering company, Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Banbury, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build bespoke catering and ventilation equipment from engineering drawings. You will use hand and power tools and ensure assemblies meet quality standards. The role offers training and progression in a growing business.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00am–4:00pm and Friday 7:00am–2:00pm. On-site role with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Assembler or similar manufacturing role.
  • Experience working within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience assembling bespoke products.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Experience working within the catering equipment or engineering sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble bespoke catering and ventilation products to specification.

Job description

This leading engineering company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke catering and ventilation equipment. Working across the commercial catering sector, the company produces high-quality products entirely in-house, utilising fabrication, welding, powder coating and assembly processes.

The Role

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling bespoke products and equipment for the catering industry. Working from engineering drawings, you will build a range of made-to-order products using hand and power tools while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or fabrication experience who is looking to develop their skills within a growing business that offers training and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Working Hours
