Full Time - Hybrid

What will you be doing?
- Producing high‑quality process design and analysis deliverables
- Writing technical reports and specifications for process system equipment
- Developing and substantiating technical solutions, including calculations and design basis
- Analysing plant, commissioning and test data to model and predict equipment performance
- Supporting design reviews, ISA/HAZOP meetings and technical change processes
- Maintaining specialist knowledge of current process system designs and performance
- Supporting project proposals, including schedules and cost forecasts
- Managing technical deliverables and providing clear progress reporting
- Working withssd internal and external stakeholders, including European suppliers
Where will you be doing it?
You’ll be based in Cheshire within a Technical Services environment, supporting complex engineering projects through robust process design, analysis and technical assurance in a highly regulated setting.
What you’ll need
- A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Experience in process or chemical engineering design
- Knowledge of process modelling and simulation tools such as MATLAB or Simulink
- Experience within the nuclear sector or another large process industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good general IT skills
- Ability to explain and justify technical decisions clearly
- French or German language skills would be an advantage
