Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Tutor to work across secondary schools and alternative provisions in Northamptonshire. As a Mechanic Tutor, you'll play a vital role in delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that introduce students to the fundamentals of motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics. You'll be working with pupils who thrive in practical environments-many of whom benefit from vocational learning outside of the traditional classroom setting. Your impact will be felt far beyond the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, practical lessons in motor vehicle mechanics.
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit learners of varying abilities and needs.
  • Inspire and engage students, helping them achieve nationally recognised qualifications.

Requirements
  • A strong background in mechanics or the motor vehicle industry (qualified to Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience in tutoring, training, or mentoring young people is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom or group management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
