Job summary

A well-known roadside assistance provider in the UK is looking for a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to assist customers in need, regardless of the weather. Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance to customers.
• Drive to different locations in all weather conditions.
• Reassure customers and explain repairs clearly.

What you’ll need

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
• You should be happy to work shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
• Y ou’ll be ready to work both independently and as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers
• A superb communicator, you’ll be skilled at explaining things to our customers so they’re reassured and know what’s going on
