Overview

Mechanic- Leeds. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, Saturday mornings as required (42.5 hours per week). Salary: £37,570 per year. Ref: 28819. We are seeking a skilled and experienced LCV Technician to join our client's site in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of light commercial vehicles. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions
  • Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
  • Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies and repair methods
Requirements

Hours and Salary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, 42.5 hours per week. Saturday mornings as required. Salary: £37,570 per year (based on 42.5 hours per week at £17 per hour).
