Job summary

Dunbia is seeking General Operatives to join the Abattoir Production Areas at Lindal in Furness. You will follow SOPs, support production targets, and work with the team to meet customer specifications in a fast-paced setting focused on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, flexible, and eager to gain new skills, with opportunities to progress across our UK sites and benefit from a subsided canteen and site engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Follow and be aware of the departmental SOP’s
• Maintain the face pace environment in line with production needs
• Work with the manager and team to achieve the department targets
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved
• Work to a clean as you go policy, ensure your work area is kept clean at all times and ensure it is cleaned when production is finished;
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
• Involvement in the slaughter and following processes of sheep and cattle in accordance with animal welfare regulations and guidelines
