Job summary

Ball Corporation in Luton, UK is seeking a Finance leader to head the FP&A function for the MEA region. The role consolidates sales, metal, logistics and SG&A costs while supporting monthly management reporting, quarterly forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan.

You will drive standardisation, deliver actionable insights, and partner with regional operations to optimise performance across MEA units. Lead a team of five with three direct reports and play a key role in cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading a diverse team of finance professionals
• Experience in management accounting in a large, multi-currency, multi-territory entity
• Able to explain financial figures to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong SAP and Excel technical skills

Responsibilities

• Own monthly financial reporting and performance analysis for MEA entities, including revenue, metal, logistics, and SG&A costs
• Prepare consolidated monthly management reporting with variance analysis and forecast explanations
• Lead quarterly forecasting and AOP processes for MEA entities
• Support MEA FP&A Senior Manager in consolidating performance for broader EMEA reporting
• Drive standardisation of reporting, planning, and forecasting across non-principal MEA entities
• Act as finance business partner to MEA commercial and operations teams
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis for MEA entities
• Ensure timely submission of forecasts and management presentations from regional FP&A controllers
• Assist month-end close activities with Operations Finance, Controllership and GBS teams
• Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical capabilities
• Support MEA SOX controls and adherence to corporate policies
• Provide ad-hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and business cases
• Manage a team of three direct reports (total team of five)
