Job summary

The Royal Free Chronic Fatigue Service is seeking a Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to provide highly specialist physiotherapy assessment and management for people with ME/CFS. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, 22.5 hours per week, based at the Royal Free Hospital site.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans, deliver the Fatigue Management Programme, and align practice with NICE guidance for ME/CFS.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate learning in specialist physiotherapy and management of complex long-term conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist physiotherapy assessment and personalised care.
• Manage a complex caseload and review care plans.
• Support pacing, energy management and symptom management in ME/CFS.
• Deliver physiotherapy and the Fatigue Management Programme with the team.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor outcomes.
