Job summary

A talent management consultancy is seeking an MDU Build Engineer for a 6-month contract based in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing network infrastructure installations in multi-unit residential or commercial buildings. Strong experience in MDU fibre builds, safety certifications, and a valid working vehicle are required. Competitive earnings available based on rate card work.

Qualifications

• 3 gangs of 2 engineers (total of 6 operatives).
• Must have own van and full kit.
• Work is rate card-based (price work) - competitive earnings for skilled teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation and delivery of network infrastructure.
• Manage fiber, coax, or copper network builds from design through to activation.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for MDU Build Engineer on a 6 Month Contract, based in Bristol & Northwest.

Responsibilities

An MDU Build Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the installation and delivery of network infrastructure within multi-unit residential or commercial buildings. This includes managing fiber, coax, or copper network builds from design through to activation, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The engineer liaises with developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of network services, troubleshoot build issues, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
