A leading cancer treatment organization in the UK is seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate patient treatment pathways and support cancer waiting times. The role involves attending MDT meetings, tracking patient journeys, and ensuring timely investigations and treatments. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and communication skills, and have a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
The post holder will attend MDT meetings for their service and an essential part of the role will be the collection and dissemination of data relating to each patient’s journey from referral to treatment.
The post holder will work alongside the Waiting Times Team to support the coordination, tracking and organisation of patients with suspected and confirmed cancer. The critical elements will be working to deadlines and investigating cancer waiting time pathways. Having an appreciation for the importance of data quality and managing a varied workload is essential.
This role will involve using judgement and analytical skills to assess a range of different potential breach cases and request the actions needed to avoid any breaches.
To build robust working relationships with the Network to ensure that all referred target patients have investigations, appointments and procedures undertaken in a timely manner to allow the patients to receive their treatment within target.
Organise and co‑coordinate MDT meetings for different SRG's. Ensuring all information is available for review and that thorough outcomes are documented in live time.
