Space Executive is seeking a Lead Developer to own the integration workstream for an enterprise MDM rollout, shaping how joiner, mover and leaver data flows across HR and operations systems.

You will lead a small team, act as the technical design authority for interfaces managed through an Integration Hub, and drive testing, go-live readiness and hypercare through to rapid stabilization.

• 10+ years in integration development and architecture.
• 3+ years in lead developer or design authority roles.
• Delivered at least two end-to-end integration programmes.
• Able to make technical decisions with limited direction.
• Confident presenting design decisions to steering groups.

About the company: A leading global technology and business consultancy is helping its client roll out a new master data management (MDM) platform that will become the single source of workforce data across core HR and operational systems.

About the role: We’re looking for a Lead Developer to take technical ownership of the integration workstream, covering joiner, mover and leaver (JML) processes and the MDM platform, from design through to go-live.

The Role:

• Lead a team of three (one Senior Integration Consultant and two Developers) while staying hands-on with complex build work
• Act as technical design authority for all interfaces, orchestrated through an Integration Hub
• Design MDM ingestion and outbound integrations, including match, merge and survivorship impacts
• Own testing, release readiness, cutover and hypercare
• MDM hubs: Profisee ideally, or Informatica, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG or similar
• Error handling, retry, replay, audit, reconciliation and monitoring

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years in integration development and architecture, including 3+ years as Lead Developer, technical lead or design authority
• A track record of leading a team through integration build into production alongside an MDM platform
• At least two integration programmes delivered end to end, through SIT, go-live and hypercare
• A self-starter who makes technical calls with limited direction
• Confidence presenting design decisions at steering level

The Details:

• Initial 5-month contract
• Ideally one day a week on site in Ipswich; fully remote considered for the right person
