Responsibilities
- Leading Pre‑sales activities for EAM with Maximo and other products, proposal preparation and estimations for multiple prospective bids.
- Work in close collaboration with the sales team to respond to proposals and client presentations covering the functional aspects of the solution.
- Support the sales team with regards to assessing the business case for responding to specific opportunities in terms of competency to deliver and commercial viability.
- Account mining for possible EAM opportunities and leading the discussion with respective stakeholder to convert opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Maximo Practice to identify potential opportunities to support new releases by IBM for Maximo.
- Elicit requirements using document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high‑level information into details, abstract up from low‑level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of solution design, deployment within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) domain using IBM Maximo.
- Knowledge and experience of business process re‑engineering (ideally in Maintenance Management, Inventory and Supply Chain).
- Experience of Maximo Implementation within domains of Oil & Gas, Chemical & Petroleum, Power Generation, Utilities, Facilities Management or Manufacturing/Transportation industry.
- Experience of Fit‑Gap analysis of how Maximo as product fits the client requirements.
- Experience of Large‑scale Maximo Implementation including Solutioning, Estimation, Design and Hands‑on Implementation.
- In‑depth functional knowledge of all Maximo modules with an excellent understanding of key modules i.e., Assets, Inventory, Planning, Resources, Preventive Maintenance, Work Orders, Contracts, etc.
- Strong experience in leading EAM Pre‑sales activities.
- Strong experience in managing stakeholders.
- Strong experience as Maximo functional consultant.
- Strong experience in conducting business workshops and writing business requirement documents.
- At least 2 end‑to‑end Maximo Implementation project experience.
- Excellent communication skills – should be independent in managing stakeholders.
- Excellent team player – ability to work with teams.
