Job summary

Harrison Spinks in Beeston, Leeds, is seeking a proactive Team Leader for its Mattress Department on the day shift. You will supervise production operatives, coordinate daily operations, and ensure quality and safety targets are met.

The role reports to the Production Manager and involves coaching the team, maintaining records in PPMS, and supporting HR processes. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 6am–4pm, totaling 39 hours per week.

• Minimise downtime by quickly resolving issues and authorising stoppages.
• Maintain stock levels to support uninterrupted production flow.
• Coordinate workforce and workflow to meet shift demands.
• Supervise operatives and ensure activity is logged in PPMS.
• Drive performance improvement to meet output and quality standards.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance skills and engagement.
• Ensure quality compliance across production stages.
