A dedicated educational staffing agency is seeking a Maths tutor to work with children and young people, providing personalized support to help them meet their academic criteria. The role involves delivering engaging, one-to-one lessons tailored to individual needs, particularly in alternative settings. Candidates must have a strong background in Maths, experience working with youth, and knowledge of behaviour management strategies. The position offers flexible hours with a pay rate between £20 to £30 per hour.

We are looking for a Maths tutor to work directly with children and young people in supporting to meet the academic criteria to their peers. The role involves encouraging pupil outside of mainstream settings.
This Maths tutor role involves providing informative, engaging sessions face to face with children at their residential home. This is often alongside a school or social workers to support their pupil with alternative provision.
To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience. Please be aware that all applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current DBS certificate (update service registered). All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
