Job Title: Maths Tutor

Salary: From £30,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Tutor to deliver high-quality and engaging learning to small groups of prison-based learners at HMP Highpoint.

This is a rewarding role where you will not only support learners to achieve qualifications, but also help them develop essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours that support their long-term goals and future employability.

You will create and deliver structured learning plans, provide tailored advice and guidance, and ensure that all teaching meets high standards of quality, inclusivity, and learner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths sessions tailored to the needs of learners.
  • Support learners in developing numeracy, problem-solving, and employability-related skills.
  • Design and implement individual learning plans (ILPs) to track and support progress.
