About the role:
  • Start-date: 5th January
  • Ongoing until end of academic year

As a Teaching Assistant based in the Maths department, you will provide 1-1 and small group intervention support. This will include adapting the curriculum and lesson plans to ensure the needs of all students are met; you will work closely with the class teachers for support. Additionally, you will provide regular progress updates to the Head of Department.

What we’re looking for:
  • Recent graduate in a maths related subject
  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • A calm approach to teaching and behaviour management
  • A genuine passion for the subject and ability to create an environment where students feel supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
