Job summary

Randstad Education in Cambridge is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to join a high-achieving secondary school and sixth form. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) with potential A-Level involvement, under strong leadership in a vibrant maths department.

Mandatory UK Right to Work and an Enhanced DBS are required. The role offers full-time, long-term prospects with permanent opportunities at competitive daily rates of £150–£260, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or QTLS.
• Proven Mathematics teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service or ready to obtain.
• UK Right to Work (visa sponsorship not available).
• Ability to teach KS3/KS4 and potentially A-Level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Inspiring Lessons across KS3/KS4 (GCSE).
• Full Curriculum Ownership including planning, marking, and GCSE prep.
• Foster problem-solving, numerical reasoning and exam technique.
• Differentiate learning to stretch high-ability students.
• Collaborate with the maths department to refine schemes and run maths clubs.
