Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting qualified Maths Teachers to work in secondary schools across Wolverhampton. Long-term, short-term and day-to-day roles available, with strong demand for long-term placements.

The successful candidate will deliver Maths to KS3 and KS4 (A-Level experience advantageous), manage classes effectively, and help raise achievement while following safeguarding policies. Based in or around Wolverhampton, with a commitment to inspiring learners.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4; A-Level experience advantageous.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4, with potential A-Level.
• Plan, prepare, mark and assess students' work.
• Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Create a positive learning environment and support progress.
• Complete required documentation and hand over work to staff.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (A-Level Maths experience would be advantageous)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring learners
• Be based in or around Wolverhampton

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level

• Following the school's behaviour management and safeguarding policies
