Job summary

Garforth Academy seeks a Teacher of Maths to join the academy on a full-time, temporary basis, starting January 2027. The role is based at Garforth Academy, part of Delta Academies Trust, serving around 2,000 students aged 11 to 18 in a diverse urban catchment.

We want an outstanding, committed practitioner who can develop teaching and learning in the Maths department and inspire pupils to reach their potential. You will join a skilled, supportive team dedicated to high standards.

Qualifications

• Secondary Maths teaching experience or QTS/PGCE preferred.
• Strong classroom management and commitment to student progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to students aged 11–18.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment and department improvement.
