Maths Teacher | East Birmingham

£170-£220 per day | November 2026 Starts | Flexible & Long-Term Opportunities

With the October half-term approaching, Aspire People is looking to strengthen our network of qualified Maths Teachers across East Birmingham for the next half-term and beyond.

We are particularly keen to hear from teachers based around Bordesley Green, Small Heath, Yardley, Stechford, Washwood Heath and surrounding areas who are looking for local teaching opportunities without travelling across Birmingham.

Whether you're an experienced Maths Teacher looking for a new long-term position or an ECT wanting to build classroom experience, we can discuss opportunities suited to your circumstances.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

We recruit for daily and short-term supply, regular weekly bookings, long-term Maths teaching assignments and potential permanent opportunities.

Assignments can include teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, preparing pupils for GCSE examinations and taking on planning, marking and assessment responsibilities where required.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Mathematics subject knowledge and the confidence to manage a secondary classroom effectively.

We are particularly interested in teachers who can establish clear behaviour expectations, deliver engaging lessons and adapt their teaching to different abilities.

Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply, alongside experienced Maths specialists.
