Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to deliver engaging maths lessons to students with special educational needs in a remote location. The role requires QTS in Maths, experience with Year 10 SEN learners, and a commitment to inclusive teaching within the SEN Code of Practice.

You must be eligible to work in the UK, willing to travel to school, and prepared to undergo a full enhanced DBS check. Term-time with INSET days applies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in Maths up to GCSE and functional skills.
• Experience with secondary age learners (Year 10) with special educational needs and operating at below age expectancy.
• Solid understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and digital literacy best practices.
• Ability to provide your own transportation due to the school's remote location.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check.
• Term time working only, alongside 6 INSET days.
• On the job MAYBO training in personal safety and conflict management.

We are seeking an empathetic, adaptable Teacher to deliver engaging Maths to our students. If you excel at tailoring core numeracy skills, adapting learning for diverse needs and building confidence in a nurturing SEN environment, this could be the role for you.

We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have a permanent right to work in the UK.

Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:45 - 4, Wednesday from 8:45 - 4:30 and Friday from 8:45 - 3:30. On occasion you will be required to work additional hours to enable you to fulfil your role.
