Competitive Daily Rates: Earn between £130 and £160 per day for day-to-day assignments.
No Lesson Planning or Preparation (Daily Cover): Focus purely on classroom delivery-walk in, teach, and finish your day at 3:30 PM with zero extra work to take home.
Paid to Scale (Long-Term Roles): Secure long-term Maths teaching contracts paid according to your teacher pay scale (incorporating planning and prep duties).
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy fixed daily hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with complete control over which days you choose to work.
Local School Access: Build relationships with secondary schools across West Devon and the Dartmoor region.
Deliver engaging, high-quality KS3 and KS4 Mathematics instruction using pre-set school plans.
Provide general cover across other secondary subjects as required by the school.
Follow all lesson materials provided to ensure continuity of learning for students.
Maintain positive behaviour management and foster a productive classroom environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT/NQT status (Essential).
Proven teaching experience within the UK secondary education system.
Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt seamlessly to new school settings.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new check).
Right to work in the UK.
