About Our Client

Join our client, a specialist independent education provider dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through high-quality teaching, therapeutic support and individualised learning. They are seeking a passionate and driven Maths Teacher to join their team across their Wisbech and King's Lynn sites.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 learners, many of whom require additional support or adapted teaching approaches. You'll play a key role in raising attainment, building mathematical confidence and embedding strong numeracy skills across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4
  • Differentiate work to meet a wide range of learning needs
  • Use practical, real-world and scaffolded teaching methods to support pupils with SEMH/SEND needs
  • Track progress, complete assessments and maintain accurate data
  • Develop intervention strategies to support learners working below expected levels
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and promote a supportive learning environment
  • Work closely with the SENDCo, pastoral team and other teachers
  • Uphold safeguarding, behaviour and safeguarding procedures
  • Participate in CPD, staff meetings and wider school life
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS (Essential)
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4
  • Understanding of meeting the needs of pupils with SEND or SEMH (training can be provided)
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to differentiate effectively for mixed-ability learners
  • A passion for Maths,-solving and helping pupils achieve their potential
  • Willingness to work across two sites (Wisbech and King's Lynn)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
