Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Secondary School Maths Teacher for the Rickmansworth area, to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A Level Maths. Start in September in a full-time role.

You will join a supportive department, delivering engaging lessons, conducting assessments, and offering guidance to help students build confidence and mathematical reasoning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Teaching qualification preferred (QTS).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS3–5 Maths (including A Level) with engaging lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving in mathematics.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to support student growth.
• Help students develop confidence and a solid understanding of Maths.

Salary: £34,000–£56,000+

Are you a passionate Maths teacher ready to inspire secondary school students? Supply Desk is seeking a dynamic educator to join an ambitious Maths department in the Rickmansworth area. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach A Level Maths, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, problem-solving skills and a passion for Mathematics.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a positive and ambitious school environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach Key Stage 3–5 Maths (or grades 7–12), including A Level Maths, through engaging lessons covering mathematical concepts, problem-solving and exam preparation.
• Support student growth with assessments, constructive feedback and guidance.
• Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving and effective mathematical reasoning.
• Collaborate with a supportive, innovative teaching team.
• Help students develop confidence, analytical skills and a strong understanding of Mathematics.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree in Mathematics, Maths Education, or related field; teaching qualification preferred (QTS).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and making Maths engaging and relevant.
