Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd, in partnership with a large secondary school in the Heathfield area, is seeking a Maths Teacher for a 3-day-per-week timetable starting after October half term 2026. The role runs until Christmas 2026, with potential extension to July 2027, and features full planning and marking responsibilities across KS3 and KS4.

You will teach Maths across KS3/KS4, deliver high-quality lessons, assess work, differentiate for abilities, and contribute to the Maths department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Job Description

Supply Desk are working in partnership with a large and well-established secondary school in the Heathfield area to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a 3-day-per-week timetable starting after October half term.

This role will involve teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with full planning and marking responsibilities. The position will initially run until Christmas 2026, with the possibility of extending through to July 2027 for the right candidate.
