Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Prepare students for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
• Differentiate to meet the needs of varied abilities and learning styles.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to students.

We are looking for a teacher who has a genuine passion for Mathematics and can inspire students to develop their confidence, problem-solving abilities and understanding of the subject. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their teaching experience within a supportive secondary school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students of all abilities make progress and achieve their potential.

The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teaching a broad range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics and number.
• Preparing students for GCSE Mathematics examinations.
• Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Supporting students who may lack confidence or require additional help with Mathematics.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and productive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Encouraging students to develop confidence in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
• Contributing to the wider school community and supporting student achievement.
