Job summary

United Learning is seeking a Maths Subject Adviser to support our extensive portfolio of Secondary Academies (60+). You will lead subject improvement and teacher development, raising standards in maths and improving progress across years.

You will visit schools to guide teachers and leaders, contribute to entry decisions and exam preparation, and help develop Heads of Department as expert subject leads driving curriculum improvement and high-quality maths teaching.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our Secondary Academies across the Trust to raise standards in maths in all year groups.
• Visiting schools to provide guidance and feedback to teachers, subject leaders and school leaders.
• Building the capacity of leaders and teachers including trainees, ECTs, and leading the Teacher Development Programme in maths.
• Developing resources to support effective teaching and assessment of maths across our schools.
