Job summary

RNN Group invites applications for a Lecturer in Maths at Rotherham College. The role is full-time (37 hours weekly) and temporary until June 2027, based in Rotherham.

You will teach GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Numeracy to learners, in onsite classrooms and via Google Classroom. The post requires an A Level in Maths (or equivalent), and a willingness to train for a teaching qualification; a degree in a related subject is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least A Level (or equivalent) in Maths or above.
• Be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
• Ideally have a degree in a chosen subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Numeracy to full-time students and adults.
• Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning.
• Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
