Salary: £31,350 to £36,202 per annum

Teaching / Lecturing Specialty: Mathematics

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants for a full time Maths Lecturer to deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment, and to support learners to maximise their potential and make positive progress towards their success. The successful applicant will deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills and will be mentored by experienced lecturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to a diverse student cohort.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessment materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practice.
  • Mentor and support professional development of student staff.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning at the college.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • PGCE or equivalent post‑graduate qualification in mathematics or related subject.
  • Teaching experience at further education level, preferably GCSE mathematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
