A local educational authority in North East England is seeking a Maths Intervention Teacher to support pupils unable to attend school due to medical reasons. This role involves teaching Maths and PHSE, requiring travel across County Durham. The ideal candidate will be a skilled educator capable of fostering a supportive learning environment. This temporary position offers a fixed rate of £35.84/hour and involves a minimum contract of 100 hours annually.
Maths Intervention Teacher
MPS6 fixed rate, £35.8490/hour
Casual, annualised hours contract
Temporary – required as soon as possible for one year from start
Contract of 100 hours minimum each year
Extra casual hours available to suit throughout the school year
The Woodlands EHN Team are seeking to recruit qualified Maths intervention teachers to educate pupils who are medically too unwell to attend school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to the lives of young people and their families. To support a child’s education until they are well enough to reintegrate to their school.
Candidates will be required to teach Maths and in addition PHSE and an option subject.
