We are seeking a confident and motivated Maths Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school on a long-term temporary basis, starting in November 2025.

Duties as Maths Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and deliver set lessons in Maths following the provided plans and materials.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment.
• Support pupils in understanding tasks and staying engaged with their learning.
• Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and pupil behaviour.
• Provide general support across the school when required.

Ideal Maths Cover Supervisor:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students.
• Be confident in managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
• Have strong communication and organisational skills as a Maths Cover Supervisor.
• Be adaptable, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A background or strong interest in Maths would be an advantage.
