Spire Global seeks a Mathematical Software Engineer to enhance our ground-based scheduling systems for nanosatellite constellation and ground stations. You will design, build and deploy features for automated planning over upcoming hours and days, improving resilience and capabilities of the scheduling platform.
You will contribute to developing new scheduling capabilities, iterate with stakeholders, and support live operations while improving the development environment and processes.
Planning and scheduling tasks across our complex nanosatellite constellation and ground station network is critical to Spire’s business success. These tasks include radio communication between space and ground as well as orbital manoeuvres to hold positional goals, including converging on and holding multi-satellite formations.
We are seeking a skilled Mathematical Software Engineer to help enhance our ground-based systems responsible for that critical scheduling capability. As that engineer, you will contribute to the development of our intelligent automated systems for planning the operations over the upcoming hours and days. You will design, build and deploy new features of our scheduling systems to make them more capable and resilient.
