Job summary

A healthcare trust in Birmingham seeks a Maternity Support Worker to assist midwives and provide holistic care in various settings including inpatient wards and clinics. Maternity Support Worker

We are looking for Maternity Support Workers to join our midwifery teams working within our inpatient wards, delivery suite or antenatal clinic. The primary role of a Maternity Support Worker is to assist, support and work in collaboration with the midwife and wider multidisciplinary team: in order to provide a safe and holistic approach to care.

The post holder is expected to undertake a set of defined competencies, support will be given to employees to further develop their skills and explore pathways for progression where appropriate.

Main duties of the job

Please ensure that you have read the person specification and meet all the essential requirements. We will be unable to support applications that do not have the essential qualifications outlines which includes a level 3 qualification in Health Care, GCSEs or equivalent and care certificate.
