Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join a friendly, busy team. The successful applicant will be based at the Maternity and Gynaecology Outpatients Department in Princess of Wales Hospital (antenatal clinic) and ysbyty Cwm Rhonnda, and may be expected to work at other sites within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as required. The position is permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake delegated duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
  • Work as part of a team of midwives/nurses responsible for providing, maintaining and coordinating a high standard of maternity and care.
  • Complete core competencies following a period of training and follow the duties of a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker.

  • Completion of core competencies during training period.
  • All posts are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check and, where required, Professional Registration verification.
