A healthcare provider in Smethwick is seeking an Administrative Support role in their Antenatal Assessment Unit (ADAU). The successful candidate will ensure a warm welcome to patients, maintain electronic records, and manage appointments effectively. This role is vital in supporting a busy clinical environment, ensuring the compassionate delivery of maternity care. Candidates should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in an administrative role, preferably within healthcare.
The ADAU provides care and monitoring for women who require additional antenatal assessment or observation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting this busy clinical area by providing high-quality clerical and administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
You will act as the first point of contact for women and their families, ensuring they receive a warm and professional welcome. This is a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compassionate delivery of maternity care, in line with Trust values and CQC standards.
As the role is hosted by Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust but may involve working flexibly across the four partner Trusts (Dudley Group NHS FT, Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust, and Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust), the successful candidate will support the collective vision of better, faster and safer care for the Black Country and beyond.
