Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Materials Technician to support operations in a controlled cleanroom environment in Warrington. The role requires precise weighing, accurate handling of pharmaceutical materials, and strict adherence to GMP and SOPs to ensure compliance.

You will work 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday on a full-time temporary contract with potential for extension, contributing to material flow, stock control, and accurate batch documentation in a safety-first setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in material handling in pharmaceutical or cleanroom environments preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail in weighing, counting and documentation accuracy.
  • Familiar with SOPs and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute picking activities with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability.
  • Perform precise weighing of materials in accordance with batch specifications and SOPs.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, including batch records and inventory logs.
  • Pick, pack, and stage pharmaceutical materials in line with GMP standards.
  • Operate within a cleanroom environment, adhering to contamination control protocols.
  • Use internal systems for stock control, material tracking and reporting.
  • Support efficient material flow across production and warehouse functions.

Materials Technician

Pay Rate: 14.01 per hour Hours: 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Material Technician to support operations within a controlled cleanroom environment in Warrington. This role requires precision handling, accurate weighing, and a strong focus on detail to ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute picking activities with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability
  • Perform precise weighing of materials in accordance with batch specifications and SOPs
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, including batch records and inventory logs
  • Pick, pack, and stage pharmaceutical materials in line with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
  • Operate within a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict contamination control and hygiene protocols
  • Use internal systems for stock control, material tracking, and reporting
  • Support efficient material flow across the production and warehouse functions
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in material handling (pharmaceutical or cleanroom experience highly advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in weighing, counting, and documentation accuracy
  • Strong working knowledge of SOPs and regulated environments
  • Competent in using warehouse or inventory management systems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a process-driven team
